Day 1: Muscat

Day 2: Muscat – Jabrin – Bahla – Nizwa  

Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Muscat towards Jabrin, a destination steeped in history and culture. Upon arrival, explore the magnificent Jabreen Castle, often hailed as the most beautiful and well-preserved castle in all of Oman. This architectural gem is a testament to the ingenuity of Omani craftsmanship, featuring intricate wood carvings, ornate ceilings, and beautifully decorated rooms that offer a fascinating glimpse into the lifestyle of the past. The castle’s design includes hidden passages, rooftop terraces with panoramic views, and courtyards that reflect traditional Omani architecture.

Next, visit the nearby Village of Bahla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a hub of traditional arts and crafts. Bahla is particularly famous for its pottery workshops, where artisans create stunning pieces using age-old techniques passed down through generations. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the iconic Bahla Fort, one of the oldest and largest forts in Oman, constructed entirely from mud bricks. Day 3: Nizwa – Wadi Bani Khaled – Wahiba Sands

From Wadi Bani Khalid, we continue our journey to the famous Wahiba Sands, an expansive sea of golden dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see. The Wahiba Sands are a quintessential desert experience, where you can witness the ever-changing patterns of the dunes and enjoy the tranquillity of the vast open landscape. Upon arrival, check into a traditional desert camp, where you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Bedouin-style hospitality. Day 4: Wahiba Sands – Shannah Port – Masirah Island  

After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to the golden sands of the desert as we make our way to the picturesque coastal village of Shannah. Known for its pristine sandy beaches and rich biodiversity, Masirah Island is a vital breeding ground for sea turtles, including the endangered loggerhead turtles, and serves as a sanctuary for a wide variety of bird species, making it a haven for nature lovers.

Spend the afternoon soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and admiring the untouched surroundings. Day 5: Masirah Island – Muscat

After breakfast, depart from Masirah Island and begin the journey back to Muscat, traveling via the charming coastal town of Sur. Along the way, make a stop at the breath-taking Wadi Shab, a stunning valley known for its dramatic rock formations, crystal-clear pools, and lush palm trees. This is one of Oman’s most iconic natural wonders, offering an unforgettable experience for those who venture into its serene landscapes.

Next, continue to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a remarkable natural phenomenon located near the coast. This impressive limestone crater is filled with turquoise water, creating a mesmerizing blend of geology and nature. Take some time to admire its beauty, snap photos, or even take a refreshing dip if you’re feeling adventurous.
