General Terms and Conditions

Valid at the time of booking with Black Pearl


By booking our services, you accept the following general terms and conditions, which govern the use of our travel and destination management services.


Booking Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the signed agreement, where applicable, and the required deposit.

Prices quoted are valid at the time of the estimate. They may be subject to change until official confirmation and full payment of the service.


Payment Terms

To confirm most bookings, a deposit of 30% to 50% of the total amount is required, depending on the type, duration and season of the service.

The balance must be settled between 10 and 30 days prior to arrival, according to the package, group size and period.

Payments may be made by bank transfer or other agreed methods.

Note: All bank charges are for the account of the remitter. Black Pearl must receive the full invoice amount, net of any deductions.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be communicated in writing and take effect from the date of receipt.

The following penalties apply:

  • 30 to 21 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total amount will be retained
  • 20 to 11 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total amount will be retained
  • 10 to 0 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total amount will be retained
  • No-show: no refund will be issued

Certain third-party services, such as hotels or airlines, may apply additional cancellation policies. Such terms are binding and beyond our control.


Amendments

Any changes to the itinerary or booking are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

Any amendment requested after final confirmation will be charged based on costs incurred.


Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for holding valid travel documents, visas and travel insurance.

We strongly recommend a comprehensive policy covering health, injury, delays and trip cancellation.

During all tours and activities, clients must respect local customs, laws and provided instructions. Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in exclusion from the tour without refund.


Limitation of Liability

While we strive to offer safe, high-quality experiences, Black Pearl shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays or changes caused by unforeseen events, such as weather conditions, strikes or political instability
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Injury during optional, unguided or independent activities

Our liability is limited to the value of services booked through us.


Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions or civil unrest, Black Pearl reserves the right to modify or cancel services without penalty.

Where possible, alternative arrangements or postponement options will be offered.


Intellectual Property

All content on our website, brochures, social media and promotional materials is the exclusive property of Black Pearl Oman.

Reproduction, copying or use of such materials without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited.


Governing Law

These general terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Omani jurisdiction.
