Terms and Conditions: Effective upon booking with Black Pearl

By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of our travel and destination management services.


1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement, where applicable, and the required deposit.

Quoted prices are valid at the time of quotation. They may be subject to change unless the service has been confirmed and payment received.


2. Payment Terms

A deposit of 30% to 50% of the total amount is required to confirm most bookings, depending on the type, duration and season.

Full payment is due between 10 and 30 days before arrival, based on the package, group size and travel period.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods.

Please note: all bank fees are the responsibility of the sender. Black Pearl must receive the full invoiced amount, net of any deductions.


3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are effective from the date we receive them.

Cancellation fees are as follows:

  • 30 to 21 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount will be retained
  • 20 to 11 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be retained
  • 10 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount will be retained
  • No-show: no refund will be issued

Some third-party services, such as hotels, may apply additional cancellation policies. These are non-negotiable and outside our control.


4. Amendments

Changes to itineraries or bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Any amendments requested after final confirmation will be billed accordingly.


5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are fully responsible for holding valid travel documents, visas and travel insurance.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering health, accidents, delays and trip cancellation.

Clients must respect local customs, laws and guidelines during all tours and activities. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund.


6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to deliver safe, high-quality experiences, Black Pearl shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays or changes caused by unforeseen events, such as weather, strikes or political instability
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Injuries sustained during optional, self-guided or non-supervised activities

Our liability is strictly limited to the value of the services booked through us.


7. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions or civil unrest, Black Pearl reserves the right to modify or cancel services without penalty.

Where possible, alternative arrangements or rescheduling options will be offered.


8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, brochures, social media and promotional materials is the exclusive property of Black Pearl Oman.

No material may be copied, reproduced or used without prior written consent.


9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes will be resolved under Omani jurisdiction.
