Day 2: Muscat - Quriyat - Bimmah Sinkhole - Wadi Shab - Muscat
After breakfast, depart for Quriyat, a picturesque fishing village offering a glimpse into Oman’s traditional maritime life. Begin at the lively fish market, where you’ll witness local auctions and fishermen bringing in their fresh catch of the day, an authentic, vibrant experience.
Continue to the striking Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural crater nestled between mountains and sea. Filled with turquoise water, it contrasts dramatically with the surrounding limestone cliffs. Admire its beauty or take a refreshing swim if you’re feeling adventurous.
From there, head to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most beautiful Wadis. Known for its year-round freshwater, banana plantations, and rocky trails, it’s a true paradise for nature lovers. Follow the winding path through the gorge, passing date palms and lush greenery, until you reach the natural pools. Day 3: Muscat
After breakfast, begin exploring Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate, where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony.
Start with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an architectural masterpiece reflecting Oman’s Islamic heritage. Marvel at the grand Swarovski crystal chandelier and the handwoven Persian carpet, one of the largest in the world.
Next, visit Al Alam Palace, one of the Sultan’s official residences. Flanked by the historic Al Mirani and Al Jalali Forts, dating back to the 17th century, the palace is a powerful symbol of Oman’s maritime history and national defence. Though not open to the public, its exterior and surrounding fortifications offer a glimpse into the nation’s past.

Day 4: Muscat - Wadi Bani Khaled - Wahiba Sands
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the Amouage Perfume Factory, where Omani perfumery comes to life. Discover how some of the world’s finest fragrances are crafted using precious ingredients like frankincense and myrrh, cherished in Oman for centuries.
Continue to Wadi Bani Khaled, a lush oasis nestled in a green valley. Famous for its turquoise natural pools, surrounded by vibrant vegetation and dramatic rock formations, it offers a refreshing escape from the desert heat. Spend time relaxing or swimming in the warm, inviting waters. Lunch at a local restaurant or enjoy a picnic in the peaceful surroundings.
After lunch, journey through the Hajjar Mountains toward the Wahiba Sands, a vast sea of red dunes stretching endlessly. Some dunes exceed 100 m. in height, creating a breath-taking landscape that has been home to Bedouin communities for millennia.
Arrive at Al Mintrib, the gateway to the desert. Here, you’ll meet friendly Bedouins who will welcome you with warm smiles and take you on an exhilarating 4x4 ride across the dunes to the desert camp. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with traditional Omani coffee, seasonal fruit, and soft drinks.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands - Sinaw - Jabreen - Bahla - Nizwa
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a magical moment as golden light spreads across the sands. After this unforgettable experience, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast, then depart for Nizwa, the cultural heart of Oman.
En route, stop in Sinaw, a charming village reflecting traditional Omani life. Explore the old village and bustling souk, where you’ll find fresh produce and handmade goods, a glimpse into daily community life.
Continue to Jabreen Castle, one of Oman’s best-preserved forts. Built in 1675 by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al-Yarubi (also known as Sultan Bin Bil’Arab), it is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Next, head to Al Hamra, one of Oman’s most picturesque villages.
