Day 1: Arrival in Muscat – Welcome to Oman

Arrive at Muscat International Airport, meet your representative, and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring Oman’s captivating capital at your own pace. Overnight: Muscat


Day 2: Muscat · Birkat Al Mauz · Nizwa · Bahla · Jabreen · Tanuf

Leave the coast for Oman's historic heartland. Stop at the oasis village of Birkat Al Mauz to see the ancient Falaj irrigation system. In Nizwa, explore the massive circular fort and the vibrant, spice-scented souq. Next, visit the UNESCO-listed Bahla Fort, the architecturally stunning Jabreen Castle, and the atmospheric mud-brick ruins of Tanuf. Overnight: Nizwa


Day 3: Nizwa · Wadi Bani Khalid · Wahiba Sands Desert

Journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, a spectacular desert oasis with turquoise pools perfects for swimming. In the afternoon, head into the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands. Enjoy an exhilarating 4x4 sunset dune drive before settling into a traditional desert camp for dinner under the stars. Overnight: Wahiba Sands Desert Camp


Day 4: Wahiba Sands · Sur · Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

Travel to the historic maritime city of Sur. Visit the Al Ayjah district and a traditional dhow shipyard where wooden boats are still crafted by hand. Check in at your coastal hotel and embark on a magical night excursion to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve for a chance to witness green sea turtles nesting.

Day 5: Sur · Fins Beach · Bimmah Sinkhole · Muscat

Return to Muscat via a scenic coastal route. Stop at the pristine white sands of Fins Beach and marvel at the incredible Bimmah Sinkhole (Bait Al Afreet), a dramatic natural pool. Pass through the fishing village of Quriyat before arriving back in Muscat for a relaxing evening. Overnight: Muscat


Day 6: Muscat Cultural & Heritage Discovery

Immerse yourself in Muscat's landmarks. Visit the monumental Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, wander through the lively alleys of Muttrah Souq, and photograph the ceremonial Al Alam Palace flanked by historic Portuguese twin forts. End the day exploring Omani history at the Oman National Museum. Overnight: Muscat


Day 7: Muscat – Leisure Day or Optional Daymaniyat Islands

Enjoy a free day to relax on the beach, stroll the Muttrah Corniche, or book an optional snorkeling excursion to the breathtaking Daymaniyat Islands, a marine paradise famous for crystal-clear waters and vibrant sea life. Overnight: Muscat


Day 8: Muscat – Final Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Muscat International Airport for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories of spectacular Oman.

Oman is a culturally conservative country. Guests should respect local customs and dress appropriately, particularly when visiting mosques and traditional villages.

The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque has specific visiting hours and dress requirements.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for forts, souqs, villages and natural sites.

Swimming is possible at Wadi Bani Khalid and selected coastal areas. Appropriate swimwear and a cover-up are recommended.

The desert can be very warm during the day and considerably cooler after sunset.

The turtle experience at Ras Al Jinz is a natural wildlife encounter. Turtle sightings cannot be guaranteed and visitors must follow the reserve’s conservation rules.

Some excursions take place in remote areas where facilities and services are limited.

The optional Daymaniyat Islands excursion is subject to weather and sea conditions.
